Trek Checkpoint for bike rafting?

Looking at a new gravel bike, and while I’ve had my Alpacka Gnu for a loooong time, I’ve never been a biker before. But I’ve been doing several 20-50 mile rides lately, and am curious to integrate packrafting.

I don’t know that a folding bike would be the best for my normal riding, but wondering about the potential of a full bike?

What part number from Bilstein matches the ~2” lift from these springs? 5100 or 4600, towing with 600 pound tongue weight.

1500 4x4

Took the boat out yesterday after doing some recent improvements:

Bilstein 5100’s all around Airlift bags (28 psi) Moog 81069 New Amazon bump stops, cheap

Towing a 5500 lb boat, riding level.

What could I change so my 3rd passengers don’t get bounced to pieces?

247k on the clock, trans is solid. But towing it’s gutless going up hills at 65-70. Has to drop to 2nd, 3rd won’t hold. 3k rpm’s at 70 in 3rd.

3.73 gears, 265/75/16 tires.

I know the pontoon is a giant kite. But just want like 10-15% more power to keep it going uphill.

No performance mods. Trying to approach this when budget in mind for the ol’ girl.

Trans cooler and vet servo already on.

Gears? That feels like $2-3k? Swapping a 6.0 in, feels like a dice roll as my 5.3 feels rock solid… but a potato ;)

Local shop can do a tune for $250, but not confident it will do much without any other work.

Would throwing $1k at this yield anything?
