I’ve been having an issue with my Honda Civic LX 2012 where it sometimes won’t start. It makes a weak “shoo shoo” sound, but if I jump it, it starts instantly. After I drive it for like 20–30 minutes, it works perfectly and starts fine for consecutive days.
I took it to AutoZone and they tested everything—the battery, alternator, and starter—and they said it all came back good, like the battery was around 95%. So at first I thought nothing was wrong.
But then I noticed a pattern. If I drive the car every day, it starts fine with no issues. But if I let it sit for like 2 days, especially over the weekend, it won’t start again and I have to jump it. Then after I drive it again, it goes back to normal.
So basically, it’s not random—it only happens when the car sits. It runs perfectly once it’s on, no problems while driving
**The battery is more then 4 years old
Just wanna know what you guys think I need to do kinda tight on money so if it’s the battery I’ll just fix that and not need to worry about anything else
