Should I buy a new car or keep my current one?

I’d appreciate to see anybody’s input on this situation. I can’t decide on. So I’ve had my current car since 2022. It’s paid off and a Toyota Camry so it runs pretty well. I’ve recently had to replace the battery for about $200 and I’m having issues with my starter and that will cost me roughly $250 since I’ve had this car for a while now I’m contemplating whether or not I should just buy a new one interest rates right now are hovering over 6%. I would put down around $2500 and they said they’d give me $1000 for my car. I wouldn’t buy a car that’s more than 15K and based on the estimates, they’ve been giving me I feel like the payments are manageable, but I’ve just started doing well in my career and started to save up a little bit so the other half of me really doesn’t want to give up down payment right now. My current car also needs some additional exterior work like a new bumper and new tail lights which are also gonna cost me around $200 to $300. What do you guys think? Am I being too frugal? by the way I’m also the type to take forever to get work done to my car just because I put it at the end of my priority list
