I am temporarily quitting Dandys World
This may be a ‘I don’t GAF’ scenario, but I at least end wanted to explain why-
On May first, I was so excited for the TOTW! I didn’t watch any YouTube videos before the update for a surprise (other than the developer log).
However, when I joined the game and ran straight to the update board- I was DEVASTATED. Nothing changed, just polishing. Less than polishing.
I came to the conclusion that this game is doing everything in its power to procrastinate those gameplay updates we’re all looking for. I understand ‘bu.. bu.. but… the game needs to finish optimizations first!’. While it is VERY important to optimize the game before any major gameplay updates- I find it outrageous that we can’t spend time out if development to put a band-aid fix on toon/trinkets! Hell, even the cards!
There is no reason in gods name why they can’t buff Boxtons passive by like 1-2% per person. NO REASON. There’s no reason we can’t buff Brushas trinket to give you more skill check chance/size! And finally, there’s no reason why we run out of cards this late in development… (since cards are so crucial to the game progression on higher floors).
Mainly going off on this game because I realized I was also in this invisible floor 100 trap. I have spent two months, countless hours trying to get this dumb badge. Yet, I still don’t have it. I have wasted days of my life trying to get a badge that will probably never be obtainable for me- it’s SAD.
I know the developers are working… but they just can’t muster another hour out of me, anymore.
If you’re also somebody who’s only playing for that floor 100 badge. STOP. Before it’s too late! I don’t want you to waste the time I have.
