I’m confused about how the DBs check and occupational health check works

My university said we need to complete an Enhanced DBS (with update service) and mentioned a deadline of June 22nd, but I haven’t received any email or link to actually start the application yet.
Just trying to figure out how this all works has anybody else completed it and if so how or are we all just waiting for further notice…
