How to get blueprint fragments as a solo so that you can die to clans while using tier 2 guns. (VAGUELY HOMOSEXUAL)
We’ve all been there prim locked as a solo with no hope of getting a tier 2. Well I’m here to give you a path forward. I hope you like gambling, because 90% of these methods are going to require some favor from the great gods of Rust. Your five methods are going to consist if 1: Getting really fucking l lucky from a scientist/mili crate, 2: Become a diver and get lucky on five boxes, 3: Metal detectors at night and get really fucking lucky, 4: Get lucky on keycard puzzles, or 5: Bend over for the clans and just buy them.
Because the first three of these methods are pretty straight forward, I’m going to focus on the last two. When it comes to keycard puzzles you’re pretty much gambling, to do any of the puzzles on land you’re gonna need a green card to get to blue card. Trying to do this is likely going to get you bent over and fucked by a 10 man with small rods. This is why I recommend building on the water and fishing for a blue card. even though it’s gambling you can get them pretty consistently. With your new fancy blue card you can either go inland to a monument, or go to the underwater labs. Provided your labs generation isn’t as shit as a used butt plug, you can sneak in and hit a few blue card rooms. The trick is to go in later in the day. you also need to get lucky but eventually you will be able to get a run with unlooted card rooms. I recommend a db and bone armor for your runs. Bringing cloth and a bow ensures that you won’t get your shit pushed in by scientists, so do that too. You can build a shit boat to get respawns nearby, but be careful for a rapist in a submarine. He will be more than happy to penetrate your small boat with his girthy torpedo. Doing this is a high stakes way of getting fragments without making every loss sting like a lubeless dildo.
If you’re more of a sub, you can get those knee pads on and buy them. The best way to do this is with done vending machines. get a bag near outpost before you do this, then get twenty scrap, you can do this however you want but I recommend hitting barrels and recycling, either that or giving out blows behind the caboose. After this you want to F1 kill and set up a simple circuit. set up an industrial pipe into your vending machine and have it feed in your loot on a ten minute timer. This should give you enough time to spawn in and get your scrap ready. sell it for a rock or something. After you’re done buying the fragments sell them back to your own shop for a rock.
