Advice on buying a 986s or 987s
Hi All,
I currently own a 06 MR2 MK3 and have done for 2 years now. I absolutely adore the car and look after it like I birthed it and it has treated me well in return. However I am starting to want something a bit quicker, that will me to have a bit more fun with the rear end, but still feel as balanced as mid engined sports cars do, while also looking the part. Hence I have stumbled onto either a 986s or a 987s. I live in the UK with a budget of around £15,000. I am 21 years old and so insurance is going to be expensive, but I'm hoping that I can work out ways to make it slightly less of a robbery on my bank account.
I was just looking for some advice on what people think is the better idea at my budget. I preferably want something between 03 and 06, with under 60 or 70k miles. Do you think I will be able to get a good example at this price range, as I don't want to buy something that then breaks my bank and ruins me each month.
Any advice would be amazing, and appreciated highly.
