Hi! My mom and I are visiting Mallorca in August to view the total solar eclipse.

We have never traveled here and are curious about places to stay. We will be there for a total of 4 nights, and plan on renting a car. We are interested in staying near Palma, and would like a hotel with a nice pool and a view of the ocean. Additionally, we would like a place with parking, although I am learning that might be hard to come by. Our budget is up to $300 USD per night. We don't need anything super fancy!

We have been scoping out hotels near Illetas, but are open to all feedback on towns that might be worth checking out. Thanks in advance!
