Has anyone else here ever felt like building SaaS products slows down way too much just because of database stuff?
I’ve been working on something recently because I kept hitting that wall myself. Every time I wanted to add a simple feature, I’d end up spending way too long writing or fixing queries instead of actually building the product.
So I made a small tool called Mask Databases that basically lets you talk to your database using plain English instead of writing raw queries. You just describe what you want, and it handles things like MongoDB and Neo4j queries in the background.
I’m still testing it, but I’m curious how people here see something like this fitting into a no-code SaaS workflow. Does it actually make sense, or does it still feel too technical for that space?
Would love to hear honest thoughts, even if it’s criticism. I’m mainly trying to understand if this is something builders actually need or just something that sounds nice on paper.
