In her first appearance, Verdona attempts to assassinate two teenagers, whom she attacks first while smiling happily and laughing with amusement, only stopping when Gwen intervenes. Furthermore, Sunny doesn't care at all that her actions could result in the explosion of the equivalent of a nuclear bomb in a city full of civilians. This makes me wonder what would have happened if Gwen had become a full Anodite and if she would have become as openly insensitive and amoral as other Anodites.

Recently, I stopped to reflect and realized something: it's inevitable that Gwen will eventually have to abandon her humanity. As evidenced by her astral projection, Anodites seem to be souls capable of perpetuating themselves without a body, and the entire plot of the first episode that introduces the Anodites, with Verdona trying to kill Gwen's physical body so she can achieve her complete Anodite state, is clear. Following this logic, it's inevitable that when Gwen's physical body dies, for whatever reason, she will permanently enter her complete Anodite state (something specified in "What Are Little Girls Made Of?", since it will take Gwen 70 years to learn how to create a new body after abandoning her physical body)?
