Customer brought in a cherry picker truck they need a new hydraulic pump installed. The old one chewed through all the splines and widened the female end on the motor. He brought this pump in and said to just make it work they need this truck for not too much longer an will be going to scrap once the new pump gives out. My thoughts were to drill out the hole so the shaft sits in nicely then weld the shaft to the plate and then making some risers to bolt to that aluminum mounting plate from the pump. I know I know welding the shaft is a big no no but I can’t think of much else
