Flights in Europe Summer 2026- Airline Advice
Hi , I'm looking to travel from Greece to Portugal this summer and stuck between two options.
One is with Turkish air, but only a two hour layover in Istanbul. Looks like that's doable if nothing gets delayed because it will be an international to international transfer. I'll have one checked bag.
The other is Aegean Airlines and Lufthansa or Brussels airlines. Not seeing great things about the budget airlines, and I know Lufthansa is cancelling a lot of flights. But maybe not this route? It's a longer connection 3.3 hours.
Any suggestions? I've flown Lufthansa before, my experience was fine. Never done Turkish airline or gone through Istanbul. TIA
