Art. 98 renewal doubts
Hi all!
My mom is about to go through her (3rd) renewal of her art.98 residency (trabalhador independente). This is the first time she has to do it via AIMA portal.
We have paid the fees and they have opened the documents submission, but I see a bunch of documents unrelated to her case?
For example, there is a field to submit proof of studies. Is this some kind of generic form that applies to many types of residents?
Also, she has recently moved to another place. Should we change her address with AIMA before the submission of the documents (via Portal/Retrificar Morada), or will it change automatically when she uploads the new proof of address as part of her renovation? Knowing the high chances of a mess-up, I’m pushing her to changing the address before the submission of the docs, but I’m also not sure if it’s going to really get updated on her profile, has anyone been successful with that?
