Hi, I hope everyone is doing well.

So I'm an IMG currently in rad residency abroad, my plan was to finish my residency here and then apply to the alternative pathway in the US.

However, I've been having second thoughts regarding my residency, we have long hours (average 85+ hours per week ), no clear pathway like we can have MSK, neuro, GI, ped, geriatric cases in a single shift. Attendings more into scolding than actually teaching ( although I've seen similar patterns in other residences), and no patients follow up or involvement in the treatment.

So I wanted some insight from real residents or specialists, I was thinking of applying to the next FM match, and take a fellow in MSK. Like I have some US skills from my rad residency. Tbh I'm still lost!! 🙃

so any insight or advice is much appreciated, thanks for taking the time to read.
