2 months of waiting just to be told "Sample couldn't be processed."

I am beyond pissed right now. I started this whole process back on March 15th. I waited through the extraction, the sequencing, and even saw the status change to "Raw data created" on April 13th. I thought I was finally in the home stretch.

And today, after nearly TWO MONTHS of waiting, I get an email saying they couldn't process the results and are sending me a new kit.

The worst part? They are low-key blaming me, implying the sample wasn't good enough. I followed their damn instructions to the letter:

* I did it first thing in the morning, right after waking up.

* No food, no water, no brushing teeth, nothing.

* I rubbed both cheeks so hard they were practically sore for the rest of the day.

The tracker literally showed that the raw data was generated! If the sample was bad, why did it pass extraction? Why did it pass sequencing? This looks like a massive technical failure on their end, but I’m the one who has to waste another 2 months of my life waiting for a replacement.

Has anyone else dealt with this BS? Is it even worth trying again with them, or should I just demand a refund and go to 23andMe? This is honestly the most frustrating customer experience I've had in a long time.

Timeline for those curious:

* Ordered: March 15

* Received by Lab: March 31

* Sequencing: April 5

* Raw Data Created: April 13

* Failed: May 8

Hey everyone, I'm getting extremely frustrated and looking for some advice or similar experiences.

My kit has been stuck on the "Raw Data Produced" stage since April 13. My estimated results date was April 28, but that day passed, and the date just completely disappeared from the tracker. Now it's just frozen.

It seems IMPOSSIBLE to reach a real person right now. I messaged them on Twitter (X) and Instagram, but I just keep getting generic, copy-paste bot responses telling me to visit the Help Center. When I go to their website contact page, it sends me in infinite loops, and the "Continue" or "Submit a Ticket" buttons are completely missing/hidden.

I have two questions for the community:

Has anyone else on the WGS pipeline been stuck in "Raw Data" for 16+ days with a disappeared date? How much longer did you have to wait?

How do you actually bypass the bots and talk to a real human agent in 2026? Are there any hidden emails or methods that still work?

Any help is appreciated!
