It all sounds so simple when you read online about how to download a map via Up Map to your bike. In reality it’s anything but. I purchased a Spark slip on and Up Map from Aprilia Special Parts for my 2017 Rsv4 rf . I followed all instructions to the letter. None of it is very complicated. Except for the actual execution on Up Maps part. I ended up with a map that didn’t have any traction control, wheelie control, launch control, any of that. I was told by my mechanic to download the stock map back on to the bike and then try again. When I tried that I got a blank white screen on the Up Map site where the maps are supposed to be. I tried all the solutions google recommended for that particular problem, but to no avail. All n all, from my experience, Up Map is buggy as hell, and not user friendly at all . I would only recommend having it installed by someone who is very experienced with Up Map and all their issues. Following all the instructions to the letter for a first time user definitely doesn’t lead to a successful outcome.
