Our 9 months old baby has been sleeping badly since we started solids. He would wake-up every 2 hours and not go back down without a feed - no matter what we did. We blamed reflux for a long time but the reflux got better and the sleep got even worse. We are now waking up every hour - 1,5 hour except for the first stretch which is usually between 2-3h. We try to swap the milk for pack or water and it works sometimes and other times it causes him to fall asleep for 2/3 minutes and then he is back up screaming. He can do that for hours and milk makes him go down at least for an hour. I know we should probably bit the milk off completely but I would like to figure out his schedule first and we’re struggling with that too.

His bedtime is 8 pm and we wake up at 7. He takes two naps - around 10 am and then at 2:30 pm. We can the naps at 2h. His naps also got worse recently - he struggles more falling asleep and will often wake up after 30 min (he used to nap for at least an hour for each nap which is why we used to call them). I thought that maybe he is undertired - as he gets older his sleep needs should get smaller. But the symptoms we have look more like overtiredness - very frequent wakings, often bursts of energy in the evening, crying when put to bed but then falling asleep quickly, crying instantly each time he wakes up.

I will take any advice on our schedule at this point. I already checked his average sleep time in 24h and it comes to 12-12,5h BUT I think he may be sleepingiem if we fed him milk every time. As we do not, he often stays awake for an hour or two each night screaming for milk (thishas been going on for over a week now).
