Hi
I am a 52 year old Male. i just joined Reddit and did not know this forum existed. I have assets including property, debt and equity that is over 300X with X defined as annual post tax requirement. I have 2 sons one already graduated and Works abroad and another in the first year of college. I am a very action oriented person with craving to learn new things but the role I am in is a drag— simply put it is a very administrative role and not action oriented, which makes me look at quitting. I do have hobbies but not that would fill up my whole days.
So two things cause me andiety
- my second son is still in 1st year of college and he is in a field that is not so easy to find a job without further education abroad
- how much of a struggle would I have with the void that exists after I quit
I would appreciate any feedback on the above and good advice on #2 above
thanks
