French word cards for kids?

Is there something like a set of cards where one side has photos or drawings of things, and the other side has a word for the said image?

I'm not actually a kid, just an adult learning french. I don't know how Canadians teach kids to read, but there should be *something* with images/visual cues?

Help 😭 J'ai vraiment besoin d'images pour apprendre le français and I don't want to use Amazon or accidentally end up with something that's not Canadian french

What smoke detectors do you all use?

Montreal, QC if it matters. Moved into a condo. I didn't know what a smoke detector looks like until a little while ago.

My smoke detector constantly beeps for unknown reasons. I was told to replace it during the home inspection.

Apparently there are carbon monoxide and smoke detectors that can detect both? So I was curious if that's what Canadians use in general.

I found that a smoke alarm should have a ULC logo, but I don't know anything else about which smoke alarm I should buy.

Please help a clueless dummy. Thanks!

What is this ant? Montreal QC, Canada

It's about 1cm (~0.5 inch) in size, measured by my eyeballs. Fairly fearless. They even climbed up my skin and hair in the daytime (why?????) although that didn't happen too frequently. I taped the doors to the balcony, but they might be using the entrance which I cannot block. I don't see any small ones or winged ones. They're not a large group, just a couple of them here and there but they keep spawning daily. Help?
