Looking for advice for disastrous customer experience

I took advantage of large 0% APR promo balance transfer by Chase to pay a credit card debt in December 2024. Chase took down the right credit card info over phone (and confirm/ed) but sent to a wrong beneficiary and says can no longer cancel or recoup the funds.

Since Dec. 2024 I have been non stop calls and investigations by Chase and they can not figure what happened. Every call triggers a 30-day investigation. They lay the blame on FIS Card North America, a large independent financial payment processor partner $FISERV... and ask me to address directly with FIS. The latter do not reply back over phone and finally replied to my letters saying they have no record of the transaction, card number or trace number. They recommend seeking counsel.

I filed a complaint with CFPB and the Chase Executive Office. 7 months later and still no resolution!

Anyone ever experienced such a disaster?

I welcome all advice on how best to proceed...given all the drama and disastrous customer experience and financial impact, I also want to know what kind of financial compensation can I claim I ask for beyond returning the funds.
