I’ve been rocking the base model M1 MacBook Air with 8GB of RAM, and honestly, I was a bit hesitant to update. I always assumed macOS followed the iOS "rule"—the newer the OS, the laggier the device becomes.
I couldn't have been more wrong! The UI animations are buttery smooth, Safari is incredibly snappy, and iPhone Mirroring works like a charm. If you’re still on an older version because you're worried about performance on the 8GB model, this is your sign to hit that update button. Totally worth it!
