So,
I’ve been approved. We waived SSI since I’d only be eligible for a month and that would just hold up my SSDI backpay. I know how much I’m owed and my monthly amount and when the monthly drops.
My lawyer has already been paid.. so I’m waiting (impatiently) for the backpay to hit my account. My bank info was already in the system.
Still, doesn’t show anything when I click on the payments or overpayments tab thing.
I’m curious - will it even show there until after it has been sent to my account?
I’ve already been labeled dire need - supposedly - and my senator’s office has already reached out.
So, my question is again - would it even show on there for the backpay until it’s been sent to my account (and maybe even already IN my account)? Has that happened to anyone else? I check my portal multiple times a day just in case there’s an update.
I’m in Kentucky - and didn’t know if anyone was more familiar with the payment process times other than the quoted 30-90 days. What your experience with that?
It’s only about $21k so not a crazy amount that would hold up I don’t think, based on what I’ve seen online.
