In can anybody tell what the cabochon is made of? It looks almost like shell or bone but it’s hard to tell. It’s very crude and unevenly cut but it’s on a 10k white gold band. I’ve been peeling off the yellowed glue that was, at one point, covering the stone. And there’s some kind of putty underneath the stone.
