HOI4 vs HOI3 in 2026?
I want to start my HOI journey but I don’t know where to begin. I enjoy difficult and complex games, especially strategy games so the fact that HOI3 has a steep learning curve doesn’t scare me. At the same time, I’d also enjoy the alternative-history aspect.
So I’m not really sure which one to choose. Some people say HOI4 is better nowadays while others still think HOI3 is the superior game. So what’s the best course of action in 2026? Maybe I should just wait for HOI5 and not bother?
