Possible bug bite?

Possible bug bite?

Hello,

My sister in law was possibly on her side by this small black insect (spider?).

She then started to develop redness and swelling to her left foot. She didn’t think that she got bit in the foot.

Went to PCP and was RX steroids and an antibiotic.

Any recommendations or idea of what it could be? TIA

Today marks 105 days since submission, so I decided to call USCIS to make an inquiry request rather than online to see if there was any other information or details given to me.

Agent was VERY nice. I was so nervous I’d get someone mean. Thankful for that. It did take me a couple calls to get through.

She was able to place an inquiry request since it has been 105 days but she did mention to give them 60+ days for a response due to high volume.

I asked about my previous expedite request that was denied (filed under I821D) and asked if there was any reasoning. She said on her end it just showed denied due to insufficient evidence (I send medical records, prescriptions, evidence of employment as an RN, evidence of current school enrollment). I asked if I should have applied via the I765 and she said yes.

I will say she seemed to be reading off a script, which is what I’ve gathered from other posts on here and FB. There is a lot of conflicting evidence between agents and what they tell us it seems.

Just waiting and hoping for the best. Not much else we can do as this all seems out of our control now. Good luck everyone 🍀

Hi,

I filed for an expedite on 5/1/26 and received a message saying “Thank you for your inquiry dated May 01, 2026.

Your request to expedite your case will not be submitted.”

Pretty upset considering I felt most of my reasoning was valid. I am an RN, work in the ER and a level I trauma hospital, have serious asthma for which I take daily inhalers for and without them I could have a serious asthma attack and could be hospitalized. I submitted very detailed proof from my employer, prescriptions, personal statement, amongst other proof.

Can I follow up via phone call on Monday? Any recommendations? Thanks.

Hi there, I am wanting to submit an expedite request for the following reasons:

-I am a registered nurse at a level 1 trauma ER (serving my local communities in acute and life threatening conditions)

-I have severe asthma and depend on inhalers and am currently in process of an insurance preauthorization for an additional medication to treat my asthma

-out of pocket cost for my inhaler is ~$300/mo and for the additional medication ~$4,000/mo (insane…)

-in addition to severe asthma I have other medical problems and take other medications for such, so I depend on my health insurance (through my job) to pay for these

-of course like everyone else bills, mortgage, basic life necessities

what reason should I file this under? How many documents is “too many” or “appropriate” to upload?

I have pdf files ready to send with screenshots of my prescriptions, medical notes & diagnoses, RN license, cost of medications out of pocket, proof of employment, paystub, mortgage, bills, and letter from my manager.

Dates: filed 1/20/26 , expire 6/4/26

TIA & best of luck to everyone.
