Earlier, people used search engines to discover products, services, and information. Now many users simply ask AI tools and trust the answer they get instantly.
This changes the entire flow of discovery. Instead of choosing from a list of links, users are given a direct answer. That means AI is slowly becoming a filter between users and the internet.
If that continues, then being included in AI answers could become just as important as ranking on Google maybe even more important in some cases.
