Please help!! Would really appreciate some opinions!!
We have put an offer in a house which has been accepted subject to a structural survey. This was instructed by the estate agents and being paid for by the vendor. We have agreed that the sale will not go ahead until the survey has been done. But of course, now I’ve fallen in love with the house! And I’m losing sleep over wondering how the structural survey will go.
I’ve attached some photos for reference. There are cracks in certain places of the house but this is our main concern. House built approx 1950. Extension built in 1978. Extension does not meet with this room although the extension starts on the wall below (bottom floor) this one. It has also had a double glazing window added (unsure of year).
Could this be subsidence? Help!!!
