Comp-E Upper Division Course Planning
I am currently a cc student transferring to UCI in the fall for computer engineering. I heard from a few other students that I may need to stay an extra quarter/year at UCI compared to others transferring at the same time. I am already overwhelmed from the amount of work, as I am taking 6 cc classes to be able to even transfer. How should I plan my upper division courses and where should I start? I want to be able to graduate in 2 years after transfer and I was thinking of dual enrolling at a cc while at UCI to complete some classes that are offered at a cc. However, I was told that I may not be able to do so, as UCI may not accept dual admission, or even completing the class over this summer (before transfer). Has anyone been able to complete the required classes at UCI for this major in 2 years? Am I still able to take classes in the summer before transfer? Will UCI accept dual enrollment credits? Any advice/ information would help. Thank you.
