I am looking for a book that I remember reading in the late 90's, maybe 2000. It was likely a YA level book. I would have been living in the Midwest USA at the time.

I recall it being treated as non-fiction accounts of alien encounters on Earth.

The story that I remember most, and am most looking for, involves human sized/shaped aliens who I believe were wearing yellow hoodies or jumpsuits, and had hawk heads instead of human heads.

I recall illustrations in the book (including of these hawk headed aliens).

I cannot remember much else about the book. I also searched through the subreddit and saw dozens of alien books listed, but none that seem to be what I'm looking for.
