Hello! Anxious mini schnauzer parent here.

My mini schnauzer (16 months old) is going in a “mature” spay in about a week. We didn’t do it earlier due to waiting for the first heat cycle. I need advice on other people’s experiences as I’m extremely worried for her. I’m worried about dropping her off, and I just feel so guilty for doing it. I know the benefits of the procedure will be worth it, but I’m just feeling so worried and anxious about the procedure and the healing time. Will she be in pain?Anyone else feel this before or have any helpful advice/stories? Thank you :)
