Character introduction what kills or knails it

Hello guys. Here am in for another interstellar debate. I mean like seriously we have all read a story Where a single character single appearance made us boil with excitement. Here I want to know from other writers What makes for a good character intro. The power entrance is very common, easy and works most of the time here I think cultivation books or high fantasy. I also thought of the smart entrance or the slow reveal. This aren't clean categories but simply things I though of. I was wandering what others have to say about this . What knails or kills a character intro villain or hero any type of character

Hey everyone, just wondering. I was on YouTube, swimming through the ocean of writing advice, and came across something.

When a character laughs and it's written as "hihihi" in the prose . Do readers actually dislike that? Or do most not care as long as the story is good?

Is it a red flag for some, or am I overthinking it? Just curious.

Write all or write as you go

I have been wandering guys . Does writing a story completely before you start serializing a good thing ? . Does this produce more consistent and in depth stories ? My thoughts yes I believe so. as for what the pros here think of that am curious. On the other hand we have post as you write ?. Which has immediate feedback but urgency tied to it. The former has more depth the later has more traction. What are you thoughts ? Let's break this down.
