Hello! I have a client I support through supported employment services in Georgia, meaning they have a disability and I help them find jobs and manage that position with training, coaching, whatever is needed.

We have worked together since 2022 and it has been a nonstop struggle to find a job that fits her needs. Prior to 2022, she worked in housekeeping at a nursing home and thrived! However, she was convicted of child neglect charge that year. Restaurants are not a good fit at all, she relies on SSDI so she must have limited income with a part time position. She relies on public transportation in a rural area (meaning retail/healthcare/food service are mostly her only options). Though it might not change anything, I think its important to know that she was in a very abusive relationship at the time and its highly likely that she didn't actually commit the abuse. She was really just trying to survive at the time.

My question is there a certain timeline in Georgia when she would be re-eligible to work in the healthcare field? She wouldn't be in a patient care role, more likely a housekeeping role again or in the cafeteria. Any help with this would be great!
