Property damage during maintenance

Sorry this may be long-I’m so overwhelmed. So I have been out of my apartment since the 21st of April. They had to redo all the plumbing unground, which unfortunately was apart of my apartment. At first it was just supposed to be a two-day thing turned into replacing all the pipes. They have been giving me $200 a day for a hotel. But what can I do for compensation for everything else? Quite a few of my things were damaged/ruined from the dirt everywhere. They didn’t let me know at first that they were going into the bathroom, so all of my things were ruined and/or COVERED in dirt or dust. Then to top it all off, they decided to just replace all the carpet in the apartment because it was so dirty from the work they did. They did not let me know this, and they moved everything out of my apartment to re-do the carpet. They had no permission to move literally all my things. And I just KNOW things are going to be broken. Is it in my rights be compensated for the damage they have done? And not to mention the electricity being used that I have to pay for. I just payed my full rent too-which includes water. That for almost two weeks I wasn’t in my apartment and had to pay for full water and rent. I can understand a little bit the full rent part, but still. I just want to know my boundaries before I bring everything up to the property manager. I have taken pictures of everythinggg throughout this entire process to have proof of everything.
