been running a performance-based appointment setting agency for B2B SaaS founders for 2 weeks. $0 upfront, pay per meeting only.

sent 80+ cold emails sourced from YC directory, ProductHunt, Indie Hackers, and Twitter. getting opens but zero replies.

starting to think my ICP is off. genuine question, what kind of SaaS founder actually needs appointment setting?

is it:

founders doing $1k-$10k MRR who can't afford a sales team yet?

founders selling high-ticket ($500+/month) to businesses?

founders who already have demos but can't fill their calendar?

or someone completely different?

and where do you actually find these people?

been consistent, doing the research, personalizing every email, but the silence is loud. any honest feedback on the targeting, the offer, or anything else is welcome.

running a performance-based appointment setting agency for B2B SaaS founders. pay per meeting, no retainer.

before I scale outreach, I want to talk to founders who've actually hired appointment setters before or who are actively looking for one right now.

curious: what made you decide to outsource this? what was the trigger?

and if you haven't, what's stopping you?

drop your thoughts below, any experience or perspective welcome

No team. No budget. Just me, Gmail, and a YC directory.

Running a performance-based appointment setting agency for SaaS founders. You only pay when a meeting shows up- $100 per confirmed booking.

What's working so far:

Short emails win. Under 5 lines every time.

Opening with a specific observation beats any pitch

YC directory is goldmine- founders are reachable

What's not working:

6 emails a day isn't enough. Scaling to 50.

Still waiting on first reply

Anyone else doing cold outreach at this volume? What's your reply rate looking like?
