Looking for suggestions for new headset
Hey all! So I usually go with razer or steelseries headsets, but the last couple ive bought (barracuda x and I cant remember for steelseries) have been pretty big letdowns. (The mic for the barracuda being supremely soft, and the steel series not really able to do directional audio well).
The barracudas sounds are fine, but the mic is so soft people can barely hear me, which makes it even worse when im playing a game like phasmophobia when you have to be quieter, on top of already being quieter from trying to speaker softer to not wake my roommate next door at night.
Im not trying to get a 400$ headset, but 200 under should be ok. Im also trying to get it via a local store like Walmart, target or staples, so alot of the better headsets are out of reach :(.
I see alot of good things about Logitech, and cloud, but i have a larger head and are afraid of either comfort issues or breaking them (since for whatever reason some headsets have absolutely no play when sitting on a wider head, specifically steelseries)
I dont usually think of getting a desk mic because Im not really able to set then up properly (either too much room ambience or not able to pick up my voice)
I know its asking alot, but id love some suggestions, I wouldn't mind getting another razer, but the new headset has got to be able to either pick up softer sounds or have a booster to artificially raise it. (Ive done all I can from my pcs side, maxing the output both on pc and in game, boosting etc)
