I’ve loved the idea of Spider-Man my whole life, the character has been with me practically my whole life. So when I finally earned the Animated Lord icon to show that this is my favourite character, feels amazing. But now, it feels like I’m not allowed to have a bad game.

Every time I get countered or outplayed, the chat immediately turns toxic with 'Spidey swap' or 'Spidey ur trash.' I’m not playing ranked; I just want to have fun with my favorite character. It’s reached a point where even good matches feel like a chore because I’m 'try-harding' just to avoid the flaming. I get the community is toxic, but it’s draining the fun out of the game. (Just needed to vent.)
