[META] The Misunderstanding about Observer Patch Holography
There seems to be a slight misunderstanding about the status of Observer Patch Holography (OPH). I hope the mods give me a fair chance to clear things up.
Your default assumption is most likely that OPH is not a delusion by a lone crank with an LLM psychosis. That's fair, and I'd think the same thing myself, seeing a theory like this.
That said, let me assure you that this is not the case. OPH was developed by a team of 30 people, including physicists, computer scientists, software security experts and hardware nerds (plus a few business guys for the startup founding/funding stuff). It has undergone significant review and hardening, including a month-long objection challenge that uncovered a whole lot of errors (now fixed, and many of the competitors joined out team).
1,000s of hours of human work and 1,000s of hours of research-grade LLM inference have been invested to put OPH together. It is fully proven mathematically, as well as empirically, in multiple ways, including experiments run in the IBM Quantum Cloud, and our own custom-built hardware. The latter hardware is an optical cavity compute element that directly implements the OPH axioms, and unlock performance for beyond current silicon-based LLMs and quantum computers, because they sit at the deepest layer of reality (quantum mechanics is an effective description, as is String theory).
ALL the evidence is open source and can be viewed in our Github repo and Notebooks.
This is not a fantasy. This is an actual theory-of-everything. If you are truly interested in how reality works then start here:
- Meticulous documentation of each derivation chain plus basics
- NotebookLM for asking arbitrary questions and/or making explainer videos and podcasts
Again, we are no longer interested whether this is the correct theory or now - that is already proven. The interesting part is what the "upstream" effects into other fields of science are. Biology, neuroscience, cosmology, computational complexity,... OPH reframes every single field. I'd like to invite all of you to dive in... we have far too little resources to explore every single thread.

The brain implements Observer Patch Holography consensus, just like our underlying reality.
In Observer-Patch Holography (OPH), finite observer patches carry local states, expose boundary readouts, compare overlaps, and converge by accepted repair moves toward quotient-stable normal forms.
A "thought" is a transient trajectory in a recurrent federation of neural patches; an insight, percept, decision, or remembered meaning is the observer-facing normal form reached when enough local overlap mismatch has been repaired.

Observer patch holography recovers gravity underlying idea from a observer consensus. Each obvserver has access to a local patch on a 2-dimensional holographic surface. Global physics emerges from global gluing of perspectives while maintaining consistency.
