In yet another senile rant against the pontiff, American president Trump accuses Pope Leo of “endangering a lot of Catholics” because “he thinks it’s fine for Iran to have a nuclear weapon”, perhaps hinting that Trump himself, with his infamous threats of murdering whole civilizations and sending innocent civilians back to the stone ages, is the true protector of Catholics worldwide.

Pope Leo, of course, rejects Trump's claim, explaining that “If anyone wants to criticise me for proclaiming the gospel, let them do so with the truth: the church has spoken out against all nuclear weapons for years, there is no doubt about that. I simply hope to be listened to because of the value of God’s word.”
