She does this all the time. The poor cat is there first and she wants the spot. A cat tolerates this for about 30 seconds at most.

12 and 1/2 years old and he has the instinct and the desire to bury his bone. But he felt threatened by the 2-year-olds every time he found a place to bury it. He left it there for a couple of minutes before undigging it and finding a new spot. He finally gave up and ate it.
