Found these with a small grouping of Native tools in California. Any info would be very welcome!

Curious what they are? I've haven't come across anything quite like them before. The rest of the items were a few mortars and pestles, a nutting stone, an axe, and a donut digging stone. Lots of pottery shards too. One is biscuit shaped and sized with ridges carved into it, the other a star shaped stone. Thanks!
