Hey I’m new and wondering if this reddit has any other students in psy that already have a group to talk and learn from each other.
I’m a first-year student in the Bachelor of Psychological Science and I’ve realised I really struggle to retain information from textbook readings alone. Flashcards and writing things down just don’t work for my brain, but I learn so much better through discussion and verbal back-and-forth.
I was wondering if anyone else feels the same and would be interested in forming a small study group where we talk through each chapter together—breaking down concepts, asking questions, and actually engaging with the material out loud.
I’m really hoping I’m not the only one who needs this kind of interactive approach to study.
