Vinted/Inpost help
I bought a watch on Vinted, paid £40. Got the notification that it was ready to collect from my local Inpost lockers. Got the parcel, it was bigger than I expected but as the watch didn’t come in the original box I assumed it was just that the seller had wrapped it up well to protect it. When I got home and opened it it was a hoodie and not my watch.
I clicked the ‘I have an issue’ button and reported this to Vinted along with photos. I’ve just had a reply asking for a photo of the label on the parcel but there isn’t one. They’ve now said there’s nothing they can do to help me without the parcel label. What can I do? I’m assuming this parcel had just been dropped off and that’s why there’s no label on it yet. And somehow I’ve been given the wrong collection locker. Have I really just lost £40 through absolutely no fault of my own? I’m contacting Inpost but I’m not hopeful.
