With how much more content we got for both Marrok and Crow in Maul Shadow Lord, it kinda just highlights how much of a missed opportunity Tales of the Empire was. Not that it would’ve changed a ton of the story but seeing an episode include Morgan Elsbeth recruiting (or possibly reviving Marrok) could have been so cool and a lot more interesting than what we got imo. It also would have served as an interesting way to subtly connect both stories as the entire secondary story in Tales of the Empire was about Bariss’ journey as an inquisitor which literally cameo’d Crow and Marrok.
