Hello....hope you know the answer.

Before this year I would sign in at a school as a sub and see 4-5 subs listed. This year I see 2 pages of subs sign-ins. That's about 25-40 sign-ins. We were wondering - are the schools NOT hiring full time teachers and using subs as the teachers to save on salary. Teachers get a boatload of benefits, whereas subs don't get benefits. So it would make sense to cut the budget by using subs.

I have seen security guards pulled to be subs in classes.

Any thoughts?
