I’m sorry I didn’t get a better pic of the painting of Emma—this is from “Sing a Song of Murder” where Angela plays a double role, that of Jessica and her cousin Emma, a music hall performer in London. The question I ask is, why is Emma’s gown so ugly?? Why is she wearing a green turtleneck under the dress?? Are those lace sleeves? And what about the color of the gown? Not that pretty a shade of purple, or is it supposed to be lilac?

Decided to visit Half Price Books in my neighborhood as I hadn’t been there in months. Picked these up today for $40. Like I really need more books—I have about 20 at home I still need to read. I can’t help myself!!
