I finally got a 10.0 STAR rating

I finally got a 10.0 STAR rating

This was such an amazing grind. Unbeatable is one of the first rhythm games I’ve ever played and climbing up to this point and constantly breaking past my physical limits felt so so good. I think this is it for me, but maybe I’ll be back to grind more someday.

Thank you to the developers, this was so much fun.

Pretty new to rhythm games overall but I’ve been loving Unbeatable and really wanna try to hit a 10.0 STAR rating. Right now I’m at 7.3, but I realized that there was no way I was gonna make it much further without swapping to a 4-key setup, so I’ve been trying to transition.

Previously I was working with F/D for Down/Up, but it seems like working with two pairs of keys each with both inputs is kinda hell, so I swapped to F/D for Up and Down Arrow/Left Arrow for Down. Mostly attempting to maximize comfort with how far apart my hands are, but it seems like an okay setup.

Obviously burning the new layout into my brain has been a slow process, but mostly I’m just trying to figure out exactly when I should be alternating between keys for the same input. Do you guys have a strict system for when you swap to the other key, or do you kinda just go by the situation and when it feels more comfortable? A lot of my issues come from me trying to alternate on both hands at the exact same moment which leads to a lot of confusion, and I’m wondering if I’m better off just learning how to do most things with a single key for each input and just being able to spam the other in the few situations that demand it.

If anyone has any insights I’d really appreciate it!
