Our new director is Hemen Chauhan. He was a SAB TV regular.

Some of his best-known directing credits include:

Maddam Sir - Kuch Baat Hai Kyunki Jaazbaat Hai — directed hundreds of episodes from 2020–2023.
Baal Veer — worked as director for a large part of the original run.
Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo — one of his earlier major sitcom projects.
Yam Hain Hum
Chidiya Ghar
Saat Phero Ki Hera Pherie

His career seems especially tied to light-hearted sitcoms, fantasy-comedy shows, and long-running family entertainment series.

Is this good or bad? What did we think about the direction today?

A while back, I posted something I heard from an Instagram live of a crew member, Rahul Bhagat.

That’s irrelevant rn, but he confirmed that Amit Malik has left Tjjd as of today, and a new director (not Rave thank god) is on board.

Fyi, he also said that he doesn’t know if Amit sir will ‘come back’, which is particularly confusing.

Now for my prayers:
Please let this new director be good😭🤌🏻
Please let him/her be a man/woman of a sane mind🥰
Please let him/her have some, if not impeccable aesthetic sense.

Humare show ke set pe ek Rahul Bhagat naam ke vyakti kaam karte hain. He’s live now.

Someone asked him “writers bhang peeke likhte hain kya show ki script ?”

And he replied, without missing a beat, ki “mujhe khud samajh nahi aata ye writers kya karte hain, yeh kehna kya chahte hain bhai, mere haath mein hota toh main inse better likhta.”
