Hi everyone. Just figured I'd share an experience that I had today in the hopes that it'll help someone.

I've been having issues with my garbage disposal smelling really bad and making a grinding sound for quite some time. I had a bottle of lemon juice in the fridge. Today, I figured I'd try to at least kill the stench with something acidic. I ran the disposal while pouring some lemon juice in it. The smell is completely gone, and the blades are no longer making a grinding sound. It sounds like new.

Just some helpful advice I thought I'd share here.
