I was looking to pick up one of the 2026 Pro 9i units when they drop in May. However, I had previously tried the Asus Proart unit with a Tandem OLED, and was very annoyed by the screen door/dirty screen effect on the touch Tandem OLED screen. It seems like most reviewers say that the Tandem OLED on the Lenovo unit is better, and does not have the same problem. It looks like the 2026 and 2025 units share the same screen, based on screen specs.
I've seen a few user reviews remark on a grainy/sand-like look on grey screens (which I believe is pretty standard for OLED) on the 2025 unit, but none remark on the screen door effect on light/white screens. Since I mostly work with a white background, the grey screen effect is not much of a concern.
I was able to find a 2025 unit on display at a local Best Buy, but it looks like that one runs the base (1800p) screen. I haven't been able to find a Tandem OLED unit on display.
So my question is just for existing 2025 unit owners, are you noticing any dirty screen/screen door effect on light backgrounds?
