Glock stippling with fiber lasers, starting settings from users running 50W and 60W JPT/MOPA fiber lasers.
⚡ 50W JPT Fiber Laser (150mm lens, Zigzag pattern)
- 4000 speed
- 50% power
- 90 kHz
- 0.025 line spacing
- 29° rotation
- 3 passes
⚡ 50W JPT Fiber Laser (175mm lens, Crosshatch)
- 2500 speed
- 50% power
- 190 frequency
- Cross hatch auto rotate
- 0.04 line spacing
⚡ 60W MOPA Fiber Laser (150×150mm lens, Deep Engraving)
- 1500 speed
- 55% power
- 100 kHz
- 200 Q Pulse
- 0.09 line distance
- 45° scan angle
- 10 passes
- 90° increment
Clean pass:
- 3000 speed
- 25% power
- 300 kHz
Tips from users:
- Always test on sacrificial frames or PMAGs first — newer Glock polymer batches (2024+) can react differently to laser heat.
- Use air assist to reduce residue and prevent polymer melting.
- Lower power + higher speed usually works better than slow, high-power passes.
